Communicate easier with the SkyCiv app for Slack
Slack is an increasingly popular communication tool used to by teams of engineers to discuss and collaborate on projects.
Getting Started
Getting started is simple, simply install the App via the Slack AppStore. Alternatively, simply click the below button:
Note: You can also install this App, by visiting Account –> Settings and toggle on the Slack App.
Usage
The Slack App will automatically post on a set channel, specified by the user in the Slack settings window:
Just like in the native Slack program, you can create new channels directly while using the SkyCiv Slack add-on.
The app will automatically post to the channel selected in the Post Message section on the following actions:
- Custom written message
- Adding a Comment in our Detailed Comments App
- Saving a model
The “Send model with message” option will also send the model file – via a JSON file – to Slack
