Automatic Repair model functionality to help you detect and repair issues in your model

The repair model feature offers a number of useful functions that can help fix your model. These are generally separated into functions for nodes, 会員, とプレート. 現在, SkyCiv は、モデルに対して次のチェックを実行します:

  • Unused nodesscan model for nodes that are floating and disconnected
  • Duplicate Nodes, Members and Platesscan model for duplicate elements which can cause double the amount of rigidity in your model
  • Large Structuredetect extremely slender members (used to detect unit issues)
  • Merge nodesmerge close nodes with a tolerance based on user input
  • Zero membersdetect members that have the same start/end node
  • Continuous-to-Normal Members detect members with intermediate nodes. Changes these members to “継続的” to connect intermediate nodes
  • Intersecting Members detect and connect intersecting members
  • Default Section find any members with no section data, add a default section
  • Force Plate Meshallow analysis to run without plates being meshed first
  • Reasonability Checkchecks the model’s input is in a reasonable range. 例えば, detecting members that are 500m long, Young’s Modulus that are too low/high, 等…

You can access the 修理モデル feature anytime by going to the top toolbar and finding the 修理モデル function under 高度な. しかしながら, 修理モデル will automatically run every time you solve to ensure the structure has been checked prior to solving.

The options that are available for the repair model feature are shown below.

After you have selected the functions you wish to run, クリック “Check For Issuesto run the aforementioned functions. An alert will show up either showing you the changes that were made or if no changes needed to be made because no problems were found.

A Note about Unmeshed Plates

Unmeshed plates can cause inaccurate internal plate forces and are critical if you are looking to analyze any plate forces using SkyCiv’s FEA solver. The Repair Model function will scan your model for any plates that have not been meshed and notify the user of any unmeshed plates. The user then has the option to ignore such plates (assume they are meshed) to repair this issue in the model.
