SJI Joist Selection Verification Tests
In order to validate the SJI module developed verification tests were undertaken. serie K, Las series LH y DLH se probaron en ambas funcionalidades de selección y verificación.
La funcionalidad de selección determina una designación de vigueta válida y calcula la relación de utilidad en función de las condiciones dimensionales y de carga especificadas. El algoritmo de búsqueda selecciona una vigueta válida mientras minimiza la masa por pie.
The check functionality calculates the utility of a proposed joist designation based on specified load and dimensional conditions.
Direct testing of the pick functionality was far more comprehensive than direct testing of the check functionality. This is justified as the check functionality is completed after a valid joist is selected to return the utility ratio. The check functionality is therefore implicitly tested during the pick function tests.
The term No Solution means a valid joist could not be found based on the design criteria given (carga, profundidad, etc.…)
