Kipcom Engineering is a full-service engineering firm founded by Mitch in 1983, and offers a wide structural expertise. A unique project line of theirs is the remediation of air cool condenser support structures. To complete the project, Mitch reflects "I was looking for a program that needed comprehensive 3D capabilities. I use it extensively, and I love it."
Located in rural North Yorkshire in England, the project was considered a large residential luxury development. It started with the demolition of a traditional 1970's home, followed by a custom design of new, energy efficient, contemporary home equipped with multiple garages, workshops and stables. All of these elements were designed to have the same consistent aesthetic. Its budget sat around £2 million, including land costs.
In the case of John Marhoefer, P.E., Managing Partner of Entech Innovative Engineering, the capabilities of SkyCiv provided a robust and adaptive platform for important engineering decisions related to a large climbing structure for children built within the Ronald Reagan Building, the new location of the National Children’s Museum in Washington, D.C.
