Project Overview

  • Client:MTEK
  • Engineer:Vaclav Procházka
  • Location:Czech Republic
  • Type:Civil & Construction

Václav Procházka has been using SkyCiv since 2018 to design steel bridges over Europe. Using the capabilities available for cables and tension-only rods to experiment and quickly iterate designs for bridge replacement and bridge design.

With over 70 projects designed in SkyCiv, MTek have tried and tested the software in various ways, saving time with key modelling and advanced analysis features.

The final design was then installed to replace existing bridges with minimal downtime for traffic:

Beyond Bridges

Václav Procházka and the team at MTek also use SkyCiv for a range of support structures to facilitate and install their various bridges. Using the full range of analysis features and Eurocode Steel Design modules, MTek were able to complete a full range of designs quickly and efficiently.:
