Truck Payload Analysis
The versatility of SkyCiv Beam can be seen in this chassis analysis; performed on a 6m long truck rig. The analysis was run by mechanical engineers at Jason Underwood Design of Victoria, Australia to ensure the safety of the chassis rails under heavy loading. These Channel Sections, supporting payload weights of up to 8 tonne, are required to be designed using high tensile steel of 540 MPa at a factor of safety of 2.5.
