Section Builder Just Got Bigger

Our Section Builder module continues to grow. We’ve added Direct Strength Method (DSM) factors for hat sections, expanding design support for AISI S100-16 and AS/NZS 4600. New supported sections include:

  • Amerikaans (CEMCO, ClarkDietrich, SSMA)

  • Australisch (Lysaght, Metrol, Stramit)

  • Hier is een voorbeeld van de software die de SLS- en ULS-windsnelheden berekent voor: (Metalcraft)

This means an even more ready-to-go and accurate design for cold-formed steel users.

SkyCiv Quick Design Adds NZ Bolt Group Calculator

New Zealand engineers, this one’s for you. Onze nieuwste Quick Design-calculator verwerkt de capaciteit van boutgroepen in overeenstemming met NZS 3404:1997, Shear bedekken, spanning, en buigacties. Kies uit vooraf ingestelde boutgeometrieën of definieer aangepaste lay-outs, met ondersteuning voor zowel plastische als elastische analysemethoden.

More Flexibility in SkyCiv Base Plate Design

We’ve added new anchor layout options for RHS sections in both AISC and EN modules, giving you more design flexibility. Plus, our CSA module now supports combined shear and axial force design for base plates.

New Flange Plate Moment Connection in SkyCiv Connection Design

New connection is now available! SkyCiv Connection Design now supports flange plate moment connections between I-sections and HSS members designed to AISC 360-16, covering plate sizing, bolt design, lassen, and limit state checks.
