Section Builder Just Got Bigger

Our Section Builder module continues to grow. We’ve added Direct Strength Method (DSM) factors for hat sections, expanding design support for AISI S100-16 and AS/NZS 4600. New supported sections include:

  • americanas (CEMCO, clarkdietrich, SSMA)

  • Australia (Lysaght, metroll, Stramit)

  • Nueva Zelanda (Embalsado)

This means an even more ready-to-go and accurate design for cold-formed steel users.

SkyCiv Quick Design Adds NZ Bolt Group Calculator

New Zealand engineers, this one’s for you. Our latest Quick Design calculator handles bolt group capacity in accordance with NZS 3404:1997, cubriendo cizalladura, tensión, and bending actions.
