Section Builder Just Got Bigger

Our Section Builder module continues to grow. We’ve added Direct Strength Method (ДСМ) factors for hat sections, expanding design support for AISI S100-16 and AS/NZS 4600. New supported sections include:

  • Американец (СЕМКО, КларкДитрих, СГМА)

  • австралиец (Лисагт, Метролл, Страмит)

This means an even more ready-to-go and accurate design for cold-formed steel users.

SkyCiv Quick Design Adds NZ Bolt Group Calculator

New Zealand engineers, this one’s for you. Our latest Quick Design calculator handles bolt group capacity in accordance with NZS 3404:1997, покрытие сдвига, напряжение, and bending actions. Choose from preset bolt geometries or define custom layouts, with support for both plastic and elastic analysis methods.

More Flexibility in SkyCiv Base Plate Design

We’ve added new anchor layout options for RHS sections in both AISC and EN modules, giving you more design flexibility. Плюс, our CSA module now supports combined shear and axial force design for base plates.
