SkyCiv Connection Design – New Update

We’ve made a key update to the wide flange beam-to-column moment connection using flange plates in Projeto de conexões SkyCiv. This improvement adds column stiffeners, which significantly improve the column’s capacity to resist axial and moment loads transferred from the beam while ensuring compliance with AISC standards.

  • Improved load distribution: Stiffeners help distribute the forces more effectively, reducing localized stresses and increasing the overall strength and stability of the connection.
  • Enhanced structural integrity: This update ensures better performance in high-load applications and minimizes potential deformations or failures at the connection points.

SkyCiv Quick Design – ACI 318-19 Concrete Column

The latest addition to the SkyCiv Quick Design módulo, a ACI 318-19 Calculadora de coluna de concreto, enables users to design reinforced concrete rectangular and circular columns for tension, compressão, axial load, a curvatura, e cisalhar.
