Dopo aver visitato il Barrio di Caracolí, nel sud di Bogotà, Sono rimasto piuttosto scioccato e rattristato da alcune delle condizioni e dalle storie a cui questi bambini sono stati esposti. Uno dei nostri dipendenti, Oscar, volunteers there on Saturdays and I was fortunate to go with him and see this first hand.

Kids, as young as 4, are often left home-alone while the parents go out and work to try and provide for their families. Spesso, they are left without food or supervision for the entire day.

The St Mary’s church is the only sanctuary for a lot of these kids. They are fed and enjoy time away from their homes playing football with other kids. They are also given some form of an education from volunteers, but this is fairly limited.

Penso che possiamo davvero aiutarli, e con una semplice partita di golf possiamo raccogliere fondi per andare direttamente a questa comunità e aiutare questi bambini e queste famiglie.

100% una parte del denaro andrà direttamente alla scuola e alla comunità per fornire cibo, abbigliamento e sostegno ai bambini e alle famiglie del barrio.
